2010 Web Seminar Subscription (Includes Access to 2009)

A year-long series of web seminars for experienced project managers. This series will cover advanced project management topics, including:

• Scheduling
• Risk management
• Running great meetings
• Managing stress
• Microsoft Project workshops

The series will have ten topics offered about once a month. Each topic will feature three live events, for a total of 30 hours of material for the year. During the live events, you can ask questions and interact with the presenter. Before and after the events, you can discuss the topics with me in a subscribers-only on-line discussion area.

The time of day for the live web seminars are staggered, so that you can enjoy the events at a reasonable time of day anywhere in the world. You will also have access to recordings of every event. Recordings are available in audio and video podcast-friendly formats, so you can take the sessions with you during a commute or a trip.

Each web seminar will be about one hour long, and will be a PMI R.E.P. Registered event, worth one Professional Development Unit for PMI certificate holders. All the sessions will earn credit for the PMP/PgMP categories, and some topics will also earn credit for the Risk Management and Scheduling categories. You will be able to print certificates of attendance to document our work together, and I will submit attendance information to PMI to automatically update your on-line transcript.

You can also use the on-line discussion areas to ask questions about the material. It is like having an experienced project manager on call to help answer your toughest questions. You can even claim self-directed learning PDUs based on the time you spend there, answering and asking questions. Subscribers can, if they want to, earn the full 3-year requirement of 60 PDUs for recertification, just from this one subscription.

Non-subscribers must pay for each web seminar separately. A typical web seminar will cost $36 USD to attend, so you save money even if you only attend a few events through the year.

Group Subscriptions

If you are a member of a corporate or non-profit group, please contact me about arranging for a group subscription. PMI Chapters, PMI SIGs, professional organizations, PMOs, or whole companies can subscribe to the series. Group members will get a free registration to the events, and the group administrator receives a single bill.

Creating your own web seminar series is time-consuming and expensive. Consider using this program as a way to offer web seminars to your entire project management group.

If you sign up for an individual subscription and then decide to convert to a group subscription, I will happily credit or refund any individual subscriptions towards the group program.
